Looking for strength…

Life has been a bit stressful lately, and I find myself looking for strength. We’re trying to do too much at work at once. Things are delayed. At home, we have a 1-year-old and lots of things going on. Juggling commitments and dealing with family events. Insanity was growing.

I was reminded of something while listening to zradio.org out of Orlando. Tyler of the Ellis & Tyler show shared good a verse:

Psalm 55:22 (New King James Version)

Cast your burden on the Lord,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

We often think we have to “go at it alone”. That isn’t true. God is there for you. All we have to do is reach out to Him.

There is a good song by Finding Favor called Cast My Cares that goes well with this verse.

Here is a snippet from the lyrics:

I will cast my cares on You
You’re the anchor of my hope
The only one who’s in control
I will cast my cares on You
I’ll trade the troubles of this world
For Your peace inside my soul

Keep your head held high in trouble times and stressful situations. Lean on the Holy Spirit for His strength and comfort. Let God take care of the rest.
